This explains what data WeeklyPools collects during the public beta and how it's used.

WeeklyPools is in public beta.
Every wallet, entry-fee and prize feature on this site uses sandbox demo credits. No real money moves, no real payment processor is connected, and nothing here is a real-money gambling product.
What we collect
- Account info you provide: email, display name, and profile details you add.
- Activity data: pools joined, picks made, and standings, so the product can function.
- Basic technical data: device/browser type and log data used for reliability and abuse prevention.
- Optional analytics events, only if you've opted in via our cookie preferences.
What we don't collect
We don't process real payment information because no real payment processor is connected — wallet features use sandbox demo credits only. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
How we use data
To run the core product (pools, picks, scoring, social feed), to keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and — only with your consent — to understand aggregate usage patterns so we can improve the product.
Sharing
We don't sell personal data. We use infrastructure providers (such as our database/auth provider) to operate the service; they process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.
Your choices
- Update or delete your profile information from your account settings.
- Control analytics cookies from our cookie policy page.
- Contact us to request account deletion during the beta.
Data retention
Because this is a beta, data structures and retention practices may change as the product matures. We aim to keep only what's needed to operate the service and improve it.
Children
WeeklyPools is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the minimum age required to use online services in their jurisdiction.
